Thats right ...
Mr "BORN IN THE USA" himself amongs others are endorsing Kerry.
Ha! Sweet

Quote:
Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, R.E.M., Pearl Jam and a deep roster of other rock stars will unite for a series of politically minded concerts this fall that will give voice to dissatisfaction with the Bush administration.

The all-star rock show, which is expected to begin in October and target campaign swing states, is in the planning stages but was confirmed by a half-dozen music industry sources who spoke on the condition of remaining anonymous.

Insiders disagreed on the unifying rhythm of the celebrity coalition: Some said it is the promise of the John Kerry candidacy, but at least one thought it was simply the potential of a President Bush re-election.

"There is a range of feeling about Kerry," the source said, "but a uniform belief that Bush must go."

Other artists expected to join the lineup include Steve Earle, the Dave Matthews Band, the Dixie Chicks, Bright Eyes, Ani DiFranco, Death Cab for Cutie and International Noise Conspiracy. There also are reports that Bob Dylan and James Taylor might be part of the bill.

All Bush has is some country music f**s who want to "put a boot in yer ass" or some shit lol.

Oh well right wingers please make your posts about how these bands "always sucked" and you "never listened to them"

(Ok Bruce Springsteen musically sucks imo but I gotta give his political tastes props)

Did I say it was going to influence voting?

I just got some satisfaction out of the knowledge that Bruce REM and Pearl Jam is supporting my candidate.

Awesome. Now when he loses the election, they can all write s****y new songs about how they suck, then move to another country like other celebrities.

OMG no, Johnny Depp is moving out of America because he doesn't like Bush! What the f**k will we ever do WITHOUT JOHNNY DEPP?! Ha, seems like more of an incentive to vote for Bush if it will get rid of punk-ass celebrity hippies.

Springsteen probably supports him because he doesn't want to alienate his listening audience (blue collar democrats for the most part)

Neil Young and Eddie Vedder (Who used to own) are too whacked out on drugs and alchohol to form intelligent arguments and find themselves lapsing into pseudo-socialistic rhetoric when asked to speak about politics.

Michael Stipe? Honestly. Who gives a shit about this pole smoker anymore?

If I were Kerry I'd feel like the biggest meathead in the world if I was elected this way.

Actually, Neil Young is fairly intelligent and well structured. He's not a Nobel prize winner, but he sure knows how to form good arguments to validate his point of view.

Problem is, he should concentrate with his own country first.
