Hey there! I think that something is wrong with my EVE. As a matter of fact, it's not just that I think something is wrong but it deffinately is. I keep on getting some 'patching failed' messages even tough I am not trying to patch it. Does anyone know what's this all about? How can I make this go away?

I suppose you're experiencing some problems with the auto patching option. This has been known to happen sometimes. To stop this from happening you should manually patch the client. Try doing it here: http://www.eve-online.com/patches/patches.asp?n=27121
