Since frogloks are the reason I started playing again, I've been wondering when they were going to add the froglok tag (FRO?) for current equipment like they did for vahshir. I dont remember if they did for iksar or not..
Anyway downloading the new patch files atm and it has "frogequip.s3d" and "globalpcfroglok_chr.s3d". So now hopefully I we can see the new models rotating in all their 3d frogliness! And hopefully all the junk I picked up for them will be usable too..
Anyway I was really bored, since I'd usually be playing about now 
Oh and it looks like theyve been messing with grobb a bit.. maybe adding in the shady-at-best story elements theyve been releasing lately?

Gotta hand it to VI, they can be smooth sometimes....
(the frog models are the worst though)

You think? I kinda thought the froglok models looked cool. I like the way they look, but I can see the disappointment in not playing the old school frogloks heh. Not quite the same doing flips when casting if you dont look like you're from Guk/seb /shrug

I wanted to play a froglok the first time I saw one sneaking in for my rogue's mask in 99.
I like the new models too though

I hope we can play the old frog models, I dont mind bein a nekid frog as long as its the old models.

I thought the nekked froglok on the lore page of the official site looked pretty badass.
Well, as badass as a toad can be. Anyone remember Rash, Zitz, and Pimple? HINT: not your senior pictures 
Oh and for the non-obsessive who didnt immediately go to char creation, frogs come in several colors, including Blue, Red, Black, and several shades of green. I'm told females can be pink and purple, but I didnt look at any of the female variants.
Black with bright yellow eyes looks kinda cool..
Oh and the new froglok city will be called Gukta, and its actually grobb! apparently they chased the trolls out and they now start in neriak. LOL @ the trolls

Im going to agree with Xammer on that one. I was at the Grobb event. Seeing those frogs in action was awesome. They actually look pretty damn cool. The ONLY problem I have with them is that they look a bit too... "cartoony" if that makes sense. They look like something out of an anime movie than something you would expect out of EQ but there it is. But the robed frogloks look badass.. serious. And they do do their little flips when they cast which is badass as well.
