scary... I have zero contact with people like that in my daily life, closest I get are the poor blacks working fast food joints in the city, and you do not really talk to those people beyond placing your order. It goes to show how isolated people can be within their segment of American society. That is one of the things I like about Realpoor, it is such a great cross-section of the country (hardly 100% representative, but nonetheless a lot more diverse than most of us encounter in our daily lives)

Living in the NY area and having never even visited the South outside of a few coastal cities (Charleston, Savannah, Hilton Head) I have had zero contact with people like Paden outside of a Jeff Foxworthy skit. It is seriously hard to believe that he is not just f*****g with everyone, despite what people on Teamspeak say. Call it anthropological curiousity if you will.

I don't think you can really compare the two... Stalin didn't do things that dragged the rest of the world into a bloody mess of a war, the shit he did, at least he kept it at home. Body counts alone don't mean as much.

I never followed that controversy too carefully Mexifag. I was away the weekend it occurred and I didn't bother to read the drama beyond a cursory skimming. I thought I saw somewhere where you slipped up and responded to a post under Jack Crow with your -Nah signature and that let the secret out. Doesn't really matter though, 1 person, 2 people, 100% idiot. As to Stalin vs Hitler, yes Stalin is the worst murderer of all time as far as the sheer number killed. But in terms of "evilness" Hitler is on his own level. Stalin (and others like Pol Pot and Mao) brutally slaughtered millions of people through forced labor and even firing squads, and rape squads followed by murder in Africa. The brutality of genocides should never be lessened - once you reach the level where actions constitute genocide, you are on the "bottom level of hell" so to speak. But nobody has achieved the sheer horror of what Hitler and the Nazis did - the orderly ethnic cleansing, the use of ovens and gas chambers, and the medical experimentation upon prisoners. On a moral level, no other large scale genocide touches the Nazis, and hopefully none will ever come close.

Stalin Killed Polish Jews just like hitler did.. Remeber the Ribbentrop-Molotov secret pact between the Germans and the Soviets they had prior to the start of world war 2 until 1941... Stalin can be compared IMO.. Granted he did kill alot of his own people including 8,000 priest. In Poland he murdered 27,500 Polish people in 1940 alone. You have to remember in 1939 Hitler attacked from one side and Stalin the other Spliting Poland in 2 between them..
