First I would like to say hello to all the people who stayed with Age of Conan despite all the new games that are released or that are being released as we speak. I really love this game and it is different they the others. The only thing I dont know what to play is PVP or PVE in Age of Conan ?

And first of all on my side is that I would like to greet you and wish you a great time while being here and playing Age of Conan. This game is definitely different then other games I have played so far and I think that is what makes it so appealing to most people. I love it, as well as you do and I think it will grow in number as the time passes. As far as the play style concerns, it really depends on what kind of player you are. If you are a casual player then you will prefer player versus environment, but if you are a hard core player then you should choose player versus player mode.

the pvp side has a great pull due to the innovative combat system, however the pve has a great pull too with over 20 raid bosses in game at launch!

PVP keeps me in most MMORPG's and so far AoC seems to have a great start on what could be the best. With having your own cities etc...it's just more interactive then most. It seems to have the qualities of alot of MO's I like with a better look. =)

PVE to begin with and then PVP later but my main want for the game is the story, I hope they put the lore to good use.

I agree. I think I will go with PvE at first. My guid is going to operate in
both Pvp and Pve. Gonna get my feet wet in PvE for sure first.

pvp, when it's pvp, there is a whole new angle created in th game. it's more game for your money then pure pve

I'm personally going to play a PvP server. I miss having decent world PvP -- and I'm hoping AoC will have this. In games like WoW world PvP is nearly extinct -- the only time it happens is when raids on their way to do PvE content encounter each other at the meeting stone. I played EQ2 a few years ago, and it had enjoyable world PvP for a while. I'm hoping that AoC will be a step up from that. Tired of nothing but instanced PvP battles.

I quit EQ1 after they blasted the PvP servers and I never found a good PvP game until EVE...im hoping to find another Vallon Zek on AoC

Yep. There was a heaping handful of tech beta invites handed out for this Sunday.
There's some decent videos on YouTube for every class showing some pvp. Looks like it will be a blast and hopefully a little more "twitchy" than some other MMO's.
