PC AND PS2???GOT QUESTION

Hey all, im bout to run out to Best Buy and pick this game up now some friends of mine are playing on Odin they already got me world pass and all but I got question .... This game you can play online with PS2 too right ? So say Odin server I make a char with my account or whatnot and im playin on PC .... can i hook my PS2 up somewhere else and log on my account and play on the same Odin server and on the same character but on PS2??? Basically im askin if like the servers are connected, where you can play with both PS2 players and PC players on the same server at the same time ? or are there sep servers for PS2 and for PC?

yes PS2 players play with PC players hence the s****y f*****g controls for the PC, so we can play with these console p****s!

Yes you can do that, a friend I know was in the PS2 beta and the PC beta and he could play both characters together at the same time.

The PC servers and PS2 servers are one and the same.

ps2 version wont be out for a few months (re: march)

You guys think it be easier to get a controller for PC for this game ? Im only a lvl 3 Theif ATM, but OMFG I hate the controls .... gotta move with NUM 2/6/4/8 then after every fight gotta reajust the camera angle cause it messes it up then when you start to run it zooms all the way out and when i go to run left/right it dont show what im running it it shows a f*****g sideview of me running.... I wish there was a way to lock 3rd person like right behind me, like the 3rd person view in EQ.... anyways, would it be easier ith a controller?

If the game was reviewed on a sacle of 1-10 the controller vs keyboard would add +2, seriously, the game blows without it, it's like a diffrent game.

With that said, I guess ill go get 1 today lol...But I got a question if your using a controller how do you talk to people with the keyboard and all ??? or you can use both, you just gotta set the controller down and sit still while your talking ? That sounds like it would suck though...if your tryin to tell your group that an add is commin or somthin you gotta stop moving set the controler down and start typeing then pick it back up n play....wish there was some kind of Voice Comm

you should make macros for common messages and use the controller to say um.. most people can manage to type with one hand and hold the controller with the other tho.

actually I like the keyboard.. It does take some getting use to but I work just fine with it.

One trick for the cam getting out place just hit the 5 key twice. I usally just use first person till I start a fight . Then I hit 5 to see around me..

I rerolled to move to another town and I am lvl 6 in two days. So it not holding me back.. Next thing I will be working on is marcos. Man I do hate all these menus though. =P

the menu things shouldnt be a problem, i had no problem getting used to them, and love them now.

i use a controller and have no problems at all, camera control is perfect with an analog controller.

i heard switching to a compact keyboard in the settings makes it much easier to configure for easy play.
