I knew teams were going to key in on Peterson to stop him but i had no idea OU would only hang 10 on TCU. I thought maybe they would be reloading, but apparently they are rebuilding.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame just took their first step to dominating college football again.

No, they smoked a top 25 team. That says something. I'm not a ND fan, but my eyes are open.

Its the first week of college football, let me know what ND's record is in about 6 weeks. I am not hating on the Irish, but I wouldnt make any judgements on any team ofter one game.

Oh, I'm under no illusions that they'll be making a championship run this year, but they've got an outstanding coach and a nationwide catholic recruiting base to draw from, in addition to the student athletes that will choose to go there because of the top flight education.
I am however willing to predict a national championship within the next 4 years.

I wasnt nearly as shocked by Notre Dame winning as I was with how Oklahoma, Tennessee, Auburn, and Texas A&M played.
Then again this is the reason I hate pre-season polls. They shouldnt rank the teams until after the 4th week of the season. As of right now ND beat a top 25 team, but what if Pitt ends up going 4-7? Were they a top 25 team? No.

OSU won
/snicker
I'm not really into college football, but all my family is so I get to be a fan by proxy.
Wasn't that suprised that OU lost, they have an almost all new team this year...it happens. What amazes me is the reaction of the rabid fans (OMG WE LOST /flipout) and the HUGE write up in the newspapers today.
