Hi, I've got a newbie question for you folks (coz I couldn't register at the official forums, go figure). I understand from the FAQ that as a new character my guy is entitled to some free gear upgrades and buffs, at least until he hits level eight, is that right? What do I need to do to get them? Thanks!

Actually, you can get the upgrades only *after* you get to lvl 8, and they last until you hit lvl 24. And they apply only to 1 character. See here for more: http://www.lineage2.com/guide/bonuses.html
