I remember those well enough to know that one of them is actually called "Snake Rattle & Roll", not "Snakes Rock n Roll"...but yes, they are quite delicious.

Double Dragon. That was the source of near unlimited frustration for my younger years.

Never did beat it.

Never beat Super Mario Bros. II, either.

Gauntlet II, that was another one. I got to level 101 and then I had to turn my nintendo off.

My first introduction to video games on a "real scale" (I mean my dad had pong but as a kid I'd rather have gone outside and played) was Activision's BurgerTime!

My parents and Aunts/Uncles would play that game for hours. They played it so much I think my parents ahd to replace the controllers like 5 times.

I blame them for me being a video game addict now that I think about it.

Occasionally I'll fire up the old SNES emulator to enjoy old classics like FF6 or battletoads.

I enjoy playing some 2D scrolling beatem'ups from time to time like Cadillacs'n'Dinosaurs , Alien vs Predator, Final Fight, Captain Commando and others, playing them now is even better, because you can play them online with friends through emulators, and hey - you have unlimited coins Cool

Ninja Turtles and Ninja Gaiden was unreasonably difficult. Ninja Gaiden has to be one of the most frustrating games ever.

Duuude! doom was awesome back in the days >Very Happy

But if you wanna talk oldschool:
I have one of those "Golden" Carts for LEGEND OF ZELDA for the NES.

But if you REALLY wanna talk oldschool, hell I finished Prince of Persia 1.
The first time I finished the game, I finished it in 59:56 after killing Jaffar.

Hell I remember attempting to finish a ton of games by a company called Silmarils, one of the games I remember playing back when I was like 4-5 was COLORADO (Link: http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?id=213)
God damn that game was hard.
But oh man, indepth game for the time.

Also from that company: METAL MUTANT
(Link: http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?id=702)
That game was the action/problemsolving game that I wish some games had today.

Fighting games had me hooked for a while after SF2 came out, but I remember a real jewel from those:
One Must Fall (Link: http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?id=789)
The game was so advance for the time It came out, it was basically your standard fighting game, but it added stage hazards and "robot customization".

anyways, I could go on and on.

Meridian 59 on the PC. Anyone? Was my first online game. I still get odd desires to play from time to time.

Otherwise, I remember some turn based RPG on nintendo. It had characters with old samurai-like names if anyone remembers something like that. I was very young when I played so I can't remember all the details.
