Anyone remember an oldschool arcade game. It was a three person Gauntlet type game if I remember correctly. You controlled a hero and would walk around the map killing things. Newer heros were rescuable and would be added to your stable. You had to get all of them across the map alive. I remember one of the names of the hero was like Wind Knight or something. I played it all the time when I was younger but can't for the life of me remember the name of it.

Any help please? I promise I won't masturbate in Church anymore.

I remember golden axe. it's not that one.

No...all of your characters were ALOT smaller, i mean very gauntlet like.

they each had a different type of attack that was required to get to the next level etc..

any one of the players could pick up the extra heros located around the map. once you picked him up he'd be your particular color.

grr.. this is frustrating.

Only thing that sounds like is The Lost Vikings. Your clues are horrible. Give more descriptions of the game and graphics - gameplay type clues.

Lost Vikings is what I thought, but there isn't anything about "rescuing them to make them your color"

I love Lost Vikings. =D

Seeing them inside Uldaman in WoW was great, even tho they are renamed a bit.

What was the name of that arcade game that was a side-scroller (like golden axe), but your guy had a chain and you could jump onto the monsters and swing around their neck with the chain until their heads popped off? You also could get a tiger (or turn into a tiger, I forget).

Altered Beast you could turn into Wolf, Dragon, Bear, and Tiger I think it was

There was no chain though

Final Fight was a good one just as a side note
