I'm all for watching cartoons. Really. I have a 1 year old. I'm ALL ABOUT WATCHING CARTOONS. Non f*****g stop.
What the heck do you people see in anime. I can understand if you are perverted and like hentai. That, for some odd reason, I can understand.
But normal anime....it's like watching a porno without the ****. Freakishly drawn female anime with large eyes, super large boobs and a tiny ass and green hair along with her hero, the **** ambigous h**o looking anime guy that shoots fire from his pecker when he falls into hot water....
I mean really...why the hell do you guys watch that shit. Not only watch that shit....follow it and keep track, and wonder why Ichifakfak didn't use his bankai last week.
I also wonder why people go to church and why people bother spending thousands of dollars on their piece of shit honda to make it having green lights on the undercarriage.

Why do you watch CSI? Why do you play video games like final fantasy and follow the story? Why do you have any hobbies?
It's all about enjoyment. Watching Anime is no different than watching ANY OTHER TYPE OF TV... It's just in a different format. So what if I don't like Days of Our Lives or General Hospital. I do enjoy watching Ichigo (Dr. Whoever) perform Ban Kai (operate) on Byakuya (the patient) much less everyone else in Soul Society (the Emergency Room).
Same shit, different format. If you don't enjoy it, don't worry about it. What's the point in causing yourself un-needed stress just because you don't understand something?

Well, for one thing, mainstream TV doesn't have much if any good scifi, also, mainstream TV doesn't have giant humanoid robots beating the shit out of other giant humanoid robots.

How many Blood+ episodes are out? I just downloaded 1-5, thats all that I could find quickly.

I download the filler each week just because it takes me 3 min to get, I am very disapointed in it after having read the manga up to current tho.

Speaking of giant robots.....
First anime I've ever seen was a old one known as Gigantor(at least I think it was anime, been so long since I've seen it), ever since I saw that I eventually found some good anime to watch through video stores, best one I like was Intergalactic Train 666, or something like that, had something to do with this boy that gets on this train that goes into space and stuff and involves around him fighting these robot like beings that transforms humans into robots/cyborgs or something like that.
Speaking of Gigantor, noticed Adult Swim's showing, but at a bad time at 5:30am in the morning. >_<
Anyways, I like watching anime is that they more action packed and better to watch than most of the other american based shit that's shown nowadays.
Anyone remember Tekkaman(think that's how it was spelled) where this guy would enter this huge robot named Pegasus and got transformed into this cybernetic like space suit that he wore and has this double saber for a weapon? Like that one too, but barely remember much about that one, haven't seen this one for right at 20 years now.

Im not a huge fan of anime but there is some i like.
I have watched some but its usually the anime that incorporate cgi in them that i enjoy, ala ghost in a shell and such.
<3 cgi movies and such, main reason i buy blizzard games ;p
