So I was in PoV the other day and this ass from Blacklist was calling everyone who periodically trained a "n00b", even a 65 cleric who was on her way to rez some people and had a mob pop on her.
What, has he never caused a train before? Most of us were probably 60 when he was 6, so the fact that we don't stand there confused and eat deaths doesn't make us "n00bz". f**k him.
I have news for all of you people like him that think you're hot shit because you are PoV flagged: It's a glorified Dreadlands from the spiders and skeletons in houses all the way down to the 5 mobs per square inch.
Just because you are in PoV doesn't mean you are some elite member of your class, and just because you are 65 doesn't mean you are any better skilled than people with less levels (time to play) on them, like some egotistical jackasses I've seen there lately.
Basically, I guess I'd better hurry up and get the levels and aa I want so I can leave these people in the dust and have some real fun again.

I do take the game lightly. If you ask anyone, I'm one of the more aggreable people in the game. There's a difference between poking fun and calling people "n00bz" because they are forced to train when their chanter fails and drops, or when a 65 cleric gets an add while on her way to rez a group.
When you say "n00bz" you are implying that everyone who is training doesn't have any skill when it might not be their fault at all. I don't know, it seems disrespectful to me. Maybe I am taking it too seriously.

This is why when i go to PoS, i get every Single frog, form a nice little train, and i kite them down 1 at a time. Some pissant druid wants to steal my frog? Does he think hes gonna be ready to handle 4 if he tries?

Are you doing loroks or the entry frogs?
I've noticed I don't have a lot of competition over the entry frogs.

PoS is like that about 75% of the time when I'm there still, sometimes its swarmed with people farming giants for BoT pieces though.

And there were still trains and people yelling "n00bz" back then too. Its just the nature of the zone and people dont want there characters to die so they train. I just think you have to accept the fact stuff hits hard there and as of late people arent especially equipped for the mobs there. Best bet is to just ignore /ooc spam and be ready for anything.

Verant need to pull their mother f*****g heads out their arseholes and GET THESE f*****g MOBS SUMMONING. Kiting is the biggest problem in the pre 55 game, the good thing about being 55+ was that you were generally fighting (especially now) summoning mobs, so there isn't an issue with kiters. PoV mobs lack the summoning flag and as such the zone is f*****g awful for Druids and Wizards and Bards kiting away with no regard for others.
Also, it is f*****g STUPID that PoV has the highest ZEM in PoP when it is probably the easiest zone there is. Getting more XP there than in higher tier zones is frankly ridiculous. Not a huge nerf, just bring it down so its about the same XP as the non-giant mobs in Storms or BoT.
Nerf the ZEM and flag the mobs to summon and PoV will be an OK zone.

I'm pretty sure HOH mobs are better xp per kill and are mostly around 62nd/63rd like POV.

They already nerfed PoV/PoS a long while ago.
Made stuff in PoS summon, made stuff in PoV immune to snare/root. Made unholy competition over the few things in PoS that don't summon.

I'd have to agree with Frax. I think HoH, BoT, and Tactics are equal or better to PoV exp-wise. The mobs are just harder.
