Oil Fields being lit up in.. I think he said southern Iraq.
Hope those teams they have down there really know their shit on how to shut em off =/

They said last night that they have special teams ( no so much military teams but some kind of engineers or something ) that are positioned near the oil fields incase Saddam A) lights them up or B) opens the valves and releases them into the desert.

i saw that on mcguiver where they use a non flamable explosive or something to blow out the fire then cap turn off the oil spewing lol

Red Adair (if he's still alive?) is probably over there along with his teams of fire fighters, the same folks who put out the kuwaiti oil wells 10 years ago.
Sec Def said in his briefing today there were indications that some oil wells were on fire already.

it polutes the environment badly.. it doesnt limit sight to much since the smoke rises but its scorched earth tactics.. same russia used in WWII just saddam doesnt have enough room for them to be effective.
