Was just talking with a coworker who lives in the same (small) town as me. She went to vote at lunch, and had her three year old daughter with her. In our town you mark the ballots with a magic marker, then walk over to the counting machine and drop your ballot in. As she gets to the machine after filling out her paper ballot her daughter is saying "Mommy, mommy, I want to vote too; I want to vote!". So she says "OK, sweetie, you can put mommy's ballot in the machine". At which point three election workers and a cop all physically grabbed her daughter and prevented her from touching the ballot and said she had to do it herself.

Seems like a little bit of overreaction. She didn't say anything because she didn't want to upset her daughter even more, but I could tell she was pretty annoyed.

I wouldn't be suprsied if there were fights and even maybe small riots, as sad as that is.

Jr. has been part of two elections and both of his elections have everyone wondering who's gonna s***w with which votes.

That reminds me...

did you see the show on MSNBC called 'Kerry: Bringing the War Home' ?

Was actual footage from Kerry's testimony. Then footage coupled with audio tape of Nixon sicking his goons on Kerry trying to discredit him.

Nixon actually says that Kerry is too articulate and having too great an affect to let him continue at his current pace.

Throws the info at you and lets you decide what happened. Enlightening to say the least.

That was a good show. It showed how the Republicans will do whatever they can to shut someone up that challenges them. Thank God Nixon recorded everything.

Yeah...How dare Republicans enter into an intellectual debate with someone. They should just release propaganda films like F911.

I do not think you saw the program or heard the tapes. Maybe you are posting to the wrong post...
