Ok, here goes:
I recently downloaded a "3 CD" game. as in, the torrent gave me 3 .img files. Is there any way possible for me to, instead of using 3 CD's, put them on a single DVD?
What I have in mind is maybe making 3 different folders on the DVD and finding a way to extract the .img's into each folder. Is this possible at all or am I wasting my time? At the very least, this would be great to know for future reference. Thanks.

but there's no way to burn the extracted .img's to the DVD in various folders? You know, so if I wanted to carry this DVD around I could install it on various machines without downloading daemon first.

Extract ISO's to desktop. Create three new folders. Rename them Dildo01, 02, 03. Copy the ISO's to the respective folders. Download Daemon tools.
Burn All three folders and Daemon tools to a blank DVD.
Alternatively you can try mounting the ISO's with daemon tools, and then xcopying all the folder contents, but 10:1 it's going to be more work and hassle than the above method.

cd2dvd
still will need no cdcrack
i made dvds using this site for Dawn of War and rome total war
and they both install just fine
you can also find some other cd2dvd setups on gamecopy world
also you may need to install some gimp ass windoze sdk tools
which can be a pain, to edit the .msi files.
btw, it wasn't all that easy, i had to remake the DoW dvd like 3 times to get eveything right, but i was adding a ton of extra maps, patches etc
to each time, i would make the dvd, burn an image iso of that
then mount the iso in daemon tools and install the game

Use Alcohol 120% and use the virtual drive feature to mount the images and then right click and select explore on the virtual drive, then select the contents and copy it to a new folder to burn on the DVD.
