Notice that this Vote was 96-2-2? Where were Kerry and Edwards? I mean, they might have been campaigning, but then so are a lot of the Senators on the roll call. Could we conjecture that campaigning for President takes more time, then say a regular Senate campaign? /shrugs

I assume they missed the vote today on the Draft too. It's funny how the Dem who wrote the bill that Bush has been getting bad press over, even voted No.
Yes, the Dems are the ones who were trying to bring back the Draft.

i find this a pretty good reason why the ppl who proposed the draft voted no on it

Or you can even ask yourself should the president of this country should campain at all right now that a war going on and ppl are losing thier lifes.. I mean come on.. He called this war at least he should be there for them..
