Yay.

Only things I don't like so far are the super easy travel system, level system that is designed to make you wait to level up, and new merchants that dont buy stolen goods (reasoning is so stupid)

I haven't played it because I'm not sure my PC will handle it. I got 1 FPS in F.E.A.R., so...

Anyway, here's a quote from Minion:
Quote:
Dude, I went into an inn. I moved a moved a plate that was on the table. DIDNT PUT IT IN MY INVENTORY, JUST USED PHYSICS TO PUSH IT AN INCH. Suddenly, all nine people in the inn start shouting shit about me being a thief and a guard bolts in and arrests me.

So far I am hoping a decent game doesn't flop because it has intergallactic hype.

We got the 360 version because both of our computers are craptastic.

The visuals are f*****g awesome, especially when you're outside and you can see shit around you for miles.

I haven't really had any problems like that with the AI except for overhearing some strange conversations between NPCS

C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini

Increase the value for uGridsToLoad= and it will draw the game textures out further. It looks a lot better.

Can anyone confirm if the game will run on lower end video cards that weren't listed?

I have a feeling it won't, but I really want to play it Neutral

Collectors edition is $59.99, regular is $49.99. After I'd bought mine I had to drive 40 miles to a CompUSA to get another computer part and saw they had them both on sale last week Sad $45.00 for the collectors edition.

Man, what the hell. The king dies, I get the key, and none of the damn doors open.

I don't know what that means, but it probably has to do with either A) I'm retarded or B) because I downloaded it. Fucckkk.

Anyone been able to activate one of the nine divine shrines scattered around? The second time you click on them it says "Gain more fame to be judged worthy". I got 93 fame and still get this message. Wondering if anyone has unlocked any of them.

I have a computer, not an Xbox, ergo I don't give a flying f**k about the Xbox edition.

That's ok, because it runs faster and looks better. But keep upgrading your PC. Joe Dirt "It don't bother me none!"

This game will take me years to finish.

Graphics = A-
Gameplay = B
Story/World Depth = A+
Interface = D

The interface is so f*****g annoying, it was clearly made for a controller not for a keyboard. They really should just emulate the EQ/WoW style interface/hotkey setup.

no shit...I like to explore when I want to, not for normal travel...plenty to do anyway, now youre not just trudging around

#2- Congrats on your ability to read
congrats on your communication skills... when you level you have to sleep to go up in that level, and thus finding a bed is necessary. since you generally stated "wait to level up" I assumed this is what you meant.

#3- Balanced against what? You can still sell stolen goods to fences

I didnt know this, Im playing a mage and I dont steal much (yet)
But if you can sell your stolen shit to fences then Id have to applaud the immersive realism.
Thinking back you used to be able to steal a guys entire inventory at night in Elder scrolls then the next day sell it all back to him.
This is lame and Im glad it was changed.
