I know the job topic is up there but I am wondering...I saw alot of degrees in that topic...my quesiton is are you useing your degree in your current field..
Me= No not unless I want to go Officer. (which I might)

No.
Got an offer to be a field scientist just a week ago, but the money wasn't there. I'm on hold for a couple of months until they expand their other office, they said they'll offer me a staff scientist spot then.
I'll still look around in the meantime, but the market here is unlikely to open up during the holidays.

3 years retail experience required, no college necessary.

Ok youre a Mgr. For some reason I thought you were just a reciver who had to train some girl how to do that....I suppose the money would be better as a mgr then a scientist with a company that is just starting out, since you have 3 years into so far. But damn man what a change in jobs...

Yeah the recievers back here make like $8.00 an hour, I'd jump at anything in my field if I were in that position.
As my interviewer said last week, I'm actually in a career tract now... it's just not the one I want. However, I couldn't break into my desired field without a college education... so I don't really feel like I wasted my time or money. I'll get what I want eventually, I'm not settling for just anything (like I did at this time last year, thankfully I was only gone here for two weeks and my replacement wasn't panning out).
