HL 2 is only shipping with CS as multiplayer. CS sucks, so I'll be pirating HL2 just for the single player. No intention on buying it.
I did buy Doom 3 however, just so NVSniper could kick my ass over and over again.

The ducks were the shittiest thing that ever happened to that series, worse than the handful of annoying kobolds that I never used in 1/2.

Actually if you get it off steam you get, DoD:Source, HL1:Source, and every previous game Valve has ever made for 10 dollars more then it costs in the store (hell CS:Condition Zero still runs around 29 bucks at best buy..on steam you get it for like 50 cents  P).
HL2, Halo2, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, WoW, EQ2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Metroid Prime 2, Painkiller: Battle out of Hell expansion( check out the new demo that was released.. the graphics for the game are updated and they are f****n nice) PoP2 and Viewtiful Joe 2 = makes November 2004 the best month ever for games ;p

Plus there were those AWESOME 6 pallete-swap dog characters, I mean.. Im sure everyone built them up to max and used them.

No. It wasn't as good. However, I liked Hugo's story and I liked "The Bishop's" story. Also, I liked a lot of the characters, and I really liked the theatre system. It was fun to plug different people into all of the roles.
