I wonder if the voting was rigged. I know over in Australia they were suggesting to vote for the non favorites to help our guy win. I wonder if other countries did this too and it scewed the results.

You dumb ass. Try reading.
You are correct. You couldn't vote for your own country's idol. USA was the favorite. So if every country's media told their viewers to vote for the guy expected to lose, then there are going to be a disproportionately high number of votes going to a non favorite, in an attempt to 'help' their own idol. I never said the judges rigged the vote, idiot.

Are you stupid or something? The idea is that people are told to vote for someone who isn't expected to win. That way you get less votes going towards to favorites and in theory pushing your own person ahead. However if too many people do this then it back fires. I never claimed that is what happened, I was speculating. The media pulled that stunt here so whats to say other countries didn't do it also. And if they did then maby it effected the results.
