I was thinking about maybe putting together a picnic or something in Golden Gate Park now that we're coming to warmer weather and more sun here in the SF Bay Area. I've always liked going to either Crissy Field in GGP or Ocean Beach (bonfires are fun) and chilling with friends there. Was wondering if anyone felt like going out there for an afternoon like in June or something. This is, of course open to all posters but the likelyhood of being able to come out is lessened as you get further away from the immediate area.
So, whatcha think?

I dunno if I wanna drink with Buntz again. Seen that once and it was a scary night filled with oger-like dancing. I'd be down to go to a east-coast get together or something. Better yet, if you all wanted to meet somewhere in the middle like texas or something, I wouldn't mind that.

Ok so here's the skinny in case you want to know what I have in mind.
I was hoping to buy like a big stack of burgers and food and rolling out the grill to the beach/park and have my friend bring a volleyball net or something.
Just an informal gathering, bring your own booze kinda affair, I'd provide the basics.
So far no one's expressed any interest but I think it'd be kinda fun to do.

Seriously Nah, I live in San Jose and I'd be interested except I don't want to commit to anything. I've been interviewing for jobs outside the Bay Area so I may not even be here when the date rolls around.

lol i'd love to play a realpoor poker game.
i've gotten so much better in the last couple months.
i'm a million times better playing short handed.
i'm so hopelessly addicted. but i seriously think i can support myself doing this for a while. since i've been back from france, (may 9th) i'm up 1300.
i play mostly tournaments locally and some lower limit games.
and then i play 6 max 5/10 games on partypoker that are fantastic action.
great games there.
we can play NL 100$ a round, 1000 chips each. =D funfunfun

Kbarr obviously hasn't been to a Raiders or Giant/Dodger game. The Raider Nation is scary but they made some nice pickups this year. ^^
