Anyone happen to know if there are USB powered noise canceling headphones out there on the market. Ive seen some that use the USB connector as the means to recieve signal from the computer but still require a f*****g AA or AAA battery to handle the noise canceling (which is dumb since USB is like 5v @ .5A or some shit, more than enough IMO).
Anyone out there know of a company making head phones like this?
Also, if anyone knows of some wireless noise canceling headphones Id like to hear about em.

The only ones I've seen were in the Sharper Image catalog...but of the type you described. But, I'll keep a look out for any with the USB connection...

google hasnt returned much in the way of results. I wonder how hard it would be to rig something to power off the usb wire without frying myself, my computer, and the noise canceling circuitry in the headphones.

I didn't even touch the keyboard to find this, just select your text, right-click -> search and click Froogle. |
I tried a few different searches on google using different keywords but always came up with odd results. Web pages that had noise canceling headphones and somewhere on the page was an ad for a USB device on the page and was flagged as a hit for my search based on that alone.
This is a step in the right direction tho, just need to find some that are circumaural instead of earbuds, assuming they exist. Thanks for the link motherface
