I honestly can hardly believe the news out of CES this morning. Word is that NBC Universal has chosen to use Microsoft Silverlight for at least some portion of the 2008 Olympics website. I believe the partnership is intended to provide additional access to content for viewers via on demand and streaming video services.
I am very happy to hear that NBC executives are not just partially retarded they are completely devoid of rational thinking. After pulling out of iTunes for content distribution and now choosing an incomplete platform of limited distribution for their Olympics coverage, its clear to me that NBC wants to be the first of the Major networks to be revolted against by its viewers.
