As newbie joining Eve Online what is the first thing that I have to know and the only thing that I need to keep in mind while I play this game. I am a fresh member in this game, but I have great experience when other games are in question and I know a thing or two. Newbie joining Eve Online?

Just keep in mind that you need to stay alive and take any moment that you can to practice your skill and get at a higher skill level for every skill you choose your character to have. I think that this is the most important thing and the only thing that you need to keep in your mind. If you already have experience in other online games then you already know all that a newbie should know before starting a new game. I would just like to tell you that big doesn’t mean strong at the same time and this is one of the most important lesson that you will hear.

Its a very complex game, take your time to learn it.
Join a corp/corperation and ask them to learn you..
EVE is a HARD game not everybody can handle it..
you can make isk for 5 years and lose it in 1 stupid mistake and no you will not get it back...
but thats the charme off eve.

Just be careful when joining a corporation - they may advise you to become a miner so that they can get some cheap minerals from you. Mining is boring as hell, although its a decent way to make money. But BORNING! Try mission running or pirating (although that doesnt give you much money, but its fun).

I played for 5 years and I the first thing I can tell you is that if you plan on being a long time player then the first thing you need to train is your learning skills. It is a painful process but is well worth it in the long run when your 5 mil SP ahead of every one else that started at the same time as you. Also try and keep all of your SP towards one faction, as in trying to train to fly all of the different factions of ships will not really get you anywhere when you can use that time specialized towards one faction and getting into better ships faster.

I would definitly agree with the long term importnace of learning skills.
Definitly look up a program called Evemon. It's invaluable. Allows you to make long term or short term skills plans and tells you what effect the earning skills and implants etc will have. Great tool.
