Gunna build a new computer this summer
Want a good processor 1 gig of ram, good video card ( not some gay 300 dolar one), descent harddrive ect
i alrady have my monitor ect
how much is this gunna cost you?

like say If I wanted to build a new comp
I would go with the following.
AMD Athlon 64 FX 3000 or 3200
I would use an Asus Mobo with nforce 3 chipset
512mb of DDR400 ram
Western Digital 120gb HDD
ATI Radeon 9800 XT 256mb or GeForce FX 5950 256mb
any DVD Drive/CD RW drive
and a nice case
thats the system I wish I had right now

paden that looks like what im looking for, definitely going for the AMD on this system
No i dont know what bios is, i would like to learn though, i want to put one together cus i think it would be a good learning experience.
how much would that stuff cost?

for cases check out....damn I cant remember where I got mine. Its a nice, black case, sliding front panel to soundproof disk drives (push a silver button and it goes up or down), side window with fan in it, dual rear fans, lcd screen with cpu temp and date, and a blue cathode dingy. was about 100 bucks too. not too bad for somethin that dynamite.

if you're not going to buy a computer till this summer, you shoulden't even be looking at one yet. there's going to be multiple processor releases from now till then, express pci will be out which means totally new video cards and hopefully AMD will go bankrupt and quit making s****y stuff. =P
come back to us in June and then ask what you should get.
and ya, duh, just buy an alienware and keep me employeed =)
