I would play it if it wernt for only being like 4 classes and like 3 abilities total per class.

There's something like 9 classes and 8 races. There will be a lot more than 3 abilites per class from what screenshots show, and supposedly characters will be much more customizable than in EQ. But don't let that stop you from not playing.
