What is so bad about quicktime? It is totally unintrusive on my system. It's not nearly as bad as realplayer, which I still refuse to install.
Uh, they also have a codec/plugin to play quicktime and realplayer shit in WMP. I'm sure somebody here has the link, because I sure don't.

Full version probably isn't as bad. Every QuickTime movie I try to view times out or sucks c**k for 20 minutes, then finally loads. The GUI is sluggish and even though .mov files can be streamed (unlike avi), the player still sniffs your network traffic (just like Windows Media Player! Hi Dad!).

I love QT - I simply pull the file out of my browser cache so i can resize it heh. I never watch it via the browser plug in.

The Kazaa lite guys had a real and QT replacement codec thingies, but they aren't doing it any more (damn laws) but I'm sure if you look around you can find them on-line somewhere.
Oh and Spiderman is the bestestest.
