does new egg sell prebuilt PCs?
Is it > $100 cheaper to build yerself these days?
Where's a good vendor that will sell a prebuilt system with like an ATI x800 or so video card, fast CPU 200+ gb drive and shit?
ATI or nvidia these days?
That new EPCI or whatever bus or AGP?
thanks!

or do i just go to like microcenter, buy something like http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0181353 and add in a video card if i want.
also, does dual channel RAM actually make a difference.
Building a WOW machine. dont want to spend the price of a perfect machine, but want something good for like $900-1500

MSI Mobo
Athlon FX64 Proc @ 2.2 Ghz
1 GB of Crucial RAM
200 GB Seagate Sata HD
ATI Radeon Pro 9800
and so far its only been 659 bucks.. all you need now is sound and a case which is maybe a couple hundred more.. hell I'll throw it together for ya

I can build it. just wondering if it's that much cheaper to have it pre-built. cuz when u order stuff, sometimes something comes broke, and well, that'd suck.

I'm surprised you'd price out a system with an FX64 processor...I would assume it'd be far more worth your while to pick up a 3200XP or something instead of the 2.2 FX?

I priced it out with parts that I can pick up at a local discount shop where I live so if something was broken then I could just run over and get it replaced

Dude, I'm at work. Are you at work? I'm at work. Would you come bring me a six pack of Bridgeport?
Signed, Thanksgiving.

For Gfx cards buy the x800xt line... it is the best gaming experience I have played.
