He did the same shit he did in the first one, he got inside smith and terminated the mofo, just the only way he could do it to all of them at once was to become part of the collective he had going.....otherwise he'd be jumpin inside mofos all day long and blowing them up.
The machines didnt say he died, that big thing just said it is over, then started hauling him off somewhere.
If neo died, so would have everyone that smith took over, and if you notice, they didn't, they went back to normal after neo blew smith the f**k up.....so neo would have also. Top that off with the oracle saying they'd probably see him again, and you have the truth!

i think what happened to neo was that he gave his code up to the machines like they wanted him to originally when he picked the door to go back and save trinity instead.
So he's still alive i think.

IT's not that complicated dillhole. He connected himself back up to the Matrix, Smith beats him and lets him take his body, which is connected to the Matrix. Since they are all smith, Smith is now directly connected to the Matrix. Matrix gets to kill smith and rid itself of the one thing that could destroy it. Man saves machine, machine stops killing man. Neo is dead you tools, and good riddance to Keanu Reeves stellar acting skills. =/

No they would not have you idiot. The Matrix and Smith are separate, matrix killed smith, a virus. Thx Norton Antivirus. The matrix had to kill neo to kill smith. At the end of the movie you see the cat, de ja vu, walk by and the matrix changes... Seti Sati or Sapi whatever the little hindu's name is alive and all is well. No dead people.
The movie still sucked except the fight for Zion so quit arguing with me and making me sound like a fanboy.

Neo and Smith were seperated polar opposites of the same anomaly. Smith absorbed anything he took over (as shown by taking over the oracle). When smith absorbed neo the two halves were rejoined. The anomaly was then reinserted back into the matrix and it was rebooted. That neo is dead. The anomaly however will reoccure again in this new construct of the matrix.
As to the girl. She represents the machines evolving emotions and becomming more human.

Neo was a normal human who got taken over by smith.
Neo was jacked into the matrix like every other human in the entire matrix.
All the other people jacked in who got taken over by smith would have died also by your logic sab.
matrix didnt kill anyone, the matrix is a program the machines use to control sleeping people.
Smith was a program, at least you got one part right.
Now, can you logically tell me, why neo died and every other person smith took over didnt die also?

Neo is dead. I'm sure you saw the BLATANTLY OBVIOUS parallells between the MAtrix Revolutions and the last days of Christ. Jesus died, Neo died. When the Oracle said "I'm sure we'll see him again." She was talking about when the peace ends and "The One" is needed once more; not necessarily the Keanu Reeves incarnation.
The fact that a big flaming cross came out of Neos Body IRL at the moment he was taken over should have been evidence enough to his demise. You are supposed to draw inferences, though this one isnt much of a leap... Just because they didnt have a heart monitor, or no one checked his pulse, doesnt mean hes alive.

Anyway, Id say Neo is dead, but why dident the robots have anything other then tenticles as weapons? You would think they'd have some kind of long range lazer or projectile weapon....
