Hey all, just wondering if anyone knows of any zones that are good for platinum making (either through drops or pure platinum) that I can go to? I'm level 65 beastlord with 22AA and have no money on me now whatsoever and really need to rack in some cash so I can upgrade some of my crappy gear.  All I know about is the giants in Rathe. Mountains and whenever I go there it's always crowded with druids.

Elemental planes=leet drops that sell well... ummm Rathe Mountains used to be good dunno if it still is. Just pick up every thing and sell it. Personally, I would go on a forage spree for tradeskill shit with a druid or ranjah. Foraging stuff in PoJ (cockroaches, justice fruit, breadcrumbs) usually sell decent, or at least did... same with morning dew and a few other random forages.
Hunting wise ya I would try anywhere with giant population IE Rathe Mountains...

Never been in a elemental plane before, not sure if I can even get in if it requires flags. I'll go try giant fort in BW later today, but like everything else there probably will be camped constantly. Thanks

actually....if you just wanna farm plat...
at your level with a pet....go hit Dulak.....can pull bout 1k an hour out between plat and gems...more if you keep all the runes and pages that drop...might get lucky and find a named or two as well.

Ha I totally forgot about LoY... ya Dulak Harbor... get boats oooh yes you can get gems and decent plat there forgot about LoY only really used it to PL my rogue but I do remember the drops now that you mentioned it... heh

I agree. LoY is a great place to load up on vendor crap. Kill kill kill sell sell sell.

Get a group and farm wing nameds in bot... if you get lucky with drops you can make anywhere from 50-400k every 6 hours.

Tried Dulak boats today (Windscorn, the hardest one I think) and went pretty good there, had hard time breaking up the spawn time between mobs so I could get singles so it'd be easier on me. Made 700pp in a little more than a hour. I think I'm gonna stick to there. As for BoT, my luck isn't good there, if something drops that I need it usually ends up going to a greedy player in group without going to me even if it's a upgrade.

PoJ basement is pretty good plat too. Lots of gems and vendor stuffs drop off those guys. Not too sure if you could solo down there though =x

Tier 1 stuff is pretty easy for a moderately equipped bst, slow + pet = win.

Yea, I heard about PoJ basement being good too, but I doubt I can do that, not without my level 65 slow at least which I badly need, just can't afford to buy it nor do I ever luck up in getting into a group in BoT that's fighting nameds. Nurga and Droga, never really tried there before, might try that too.

Yeah...
Stay in Tier 1 for plat lootz...
Don't ever go to Nurga for easy loots.
Or, Droga for 16 - 20 pp per kill and better loots. Those are poor zones for quick farms.
