Alright, for some reason every once in a while I will get that stupid message that says "Disk space is full on C drive" blah blah, and it asks if I want to remove some programs, the thing is I have over 3 gigs of free space (out of 12gigs total, s****y old computer). And it still keeps f*****g happening, and if it happens when im downloading something on Imesh is f***s up my download and I have to restart them (f*****g canceled my download at 500mb for a movie and I had to start D/L'ing it from scratch again). It's extremely frustrating and it kicks me out of games and shit like that too. Is there any way to disable it or get my computer to shut the f**k up and stop lieing to me?

Run Scandisk. I bet you don't have 3 gigs of free, and windows is just reporting it incorrectly because of lost file clusters or whatever.

It's windows 98, it's set to let windows handle my virtual memory it says 1757mb in the greyed out part to select the other thing though, err. whats swap file? (comp newb). I don't really want to upgrade this peice of crap because it's starting to die. Rather save up for a brand new computer.

Swap file is the hard disk space used for storing things recently/currently used that exceed the capacity of your ram. Ram is only needed for things in immediate use, other things (other apps not currently in the focus) dump to the swap file so they can be reloaded quicker when you switch to them.
