something that is cheap and not overly difficult to put together. Need this for Halloween in downtown Madison. Some ideas I have had already are Yanni, Snake Plissken (from escape from newyork and LA) and vanilla ice.

Last year I got a real pimp ass outfit together, and made some horns out of playdough. I superglued the horns to my head (no shit), and went as a "horny devil". Doing something similiar this year since it is a low maintinence outfit, but I will be in New Orleans for Voodoo Music Festival...
Edit: superglue across the playdough after the horns were made gave it firmness .. thank god i did that b/c lotsa grabbin on em hehe.. horns/superglue came off with just a "little" pain and scrubbing.. was picking off the superglue from my head for like 2 days before it was gone. doesnt hurt as bad as peeling off a scab.

last year someone posted a pic of a priest with a fake kid attached to the crotch BJ style for a costume. I laughed my ass off at it.

one of the cheapest one i seen that made me laugh
was a homemade charile brown outfit
they made a huge head out of papermache or somthing

get a whole bunch of those mini cereal boxes together (empty!)
safety pin them to an over coat or long shirt...
stick plastic knives in em...
when someone asks you what you are?

I've seen alot of great, cheap costumes (fraternity halloween parties... we spend all the money on beer!), but my fave was a walking 'have you seen me?' milk carton. It was just a large box dolled up as a carton with a hole to put your face through.
Probably a pain to move around in, but he did win first prize.

One time I showed up to my friends costume party wearing only underwear but wrapped in plastic wrap from head to toe.
When asked what I was, I said "I'm a brownie. I'm desert"
NOTE : You must be brown skinned to pull this one off.

And my idea: get a boombox blasting the Peanuts theme, dress like Charlie Brown, and get a dog to maul you while playing the Peanuts theme! Great fun!
