I'm wondering if it's possible to have a countdown in my AIM profile till my 21st birthday.
Any ideas?
I know basic Java, HTML, and C++.

from the google search it appears to be a way for third pary applications or whatever to interact with aim services.

If the data is stored locally for your profile, it would be easy. If it's stored server side, you'll either have to script the actions required to change the profile upon startup of AIM or you'll have to actually use the communication DLL and send the updated profile yourself. Sounds like more trouble than it's worth if you ask me. Best bet would be have a URL in your profile to a website dedicated to this topic and have a java script web page that does changes the web page to match the countdown.

Or just not get so excited about it.
It all goes downhill in quite the hurry after that!

Ask Elavis, he works in tech support and devotes his life to answering tech questions.
He derives great pleasure from helping others solve their computer problems
