The awesome mod for Half Life "Natural Selection" comes out with it's second release today. If you don’t know about the game play it is a First person shooter with real-time strategy elements. It pits the marines versus zerg type hive mind aliens. As a marine you can become the commander and give commands to your team to build structures throughout the map. Commander gets a god’s eye view of the whole map, including his team members and basically plays an RTS where your units are real people. Hella fun.
If you want to play single player to get used to the command mode just type “addbot” in the consol until both sides have as many players as you want.
As an alien you can crawl on the walls and in air ducts and mutate into anything that the hives will allow you to. You start with one hive and there are 3 on the map, the more hives you get the more powerful you can mutate to.
The object is total destruction of the other team. Spawn camping isn’t just allowed, it is the only way to win.
Sometime today the new Natural Selection client will be made available. Only the server app is up now but that will change any minute.
Keep checking! This mod is so cool I will often just watch the games to see how they turn out.

yeah..I typed "addbot" in the console and it didn't work :/, and atm I have a crappy 56k connection so internet games are no-no's. Looks cool though.
Actually first words out of my mouth were "f****n awesome", till I couldn't add any bots
