So who do you think will make it to the Superbowl this year?

My early prediction is Colts vs. Seahawks, but I am not going to rule out Chicago in the NFC and the AFC is going to be tough. The Pats and Steelers have looked great here lately and the Broncos are damn good this year.

A couple of weeks ago I would have said that the Bengals would have a shot but they have slowly been turning into the Bengals of old here lately.

AFC Championship in, in essence he Super Bowl.

Colts v Broncos

Winner = Superbowl Champ

It's hard for me to make a call. Being a hardcore Broncos fan for the last 15 years it is hard for me to be objective. We do know that the Colts can be beaten on any given day even though their JV squad whipped the Cardinals. Have the Cardinals ever been to the playoffs? hehe

I suppose the loser of the Super Bowl will be the Seahawks. Which is weird because the Seahawks used to actually be in the Broncos division a few years back.

I think you hvae it pretty well nailed down.

I would like to see Jacksonville make a showing though. I started watching a few more of their games this year and started to like them a bit more. They were on practically every week here since Matt Jones got drafted in the first round by them. The Razorbacks sucked ass until late in the year so people here needed something to root for.

I wish they would have utilized him more though. He didn't get alot of opportunities to make plays but the ones he did get were usually pretty good.

Broncos vs. Seahawks, I suppose, with Denver winning. I'd prefer to see Pittsburgh win it all.

That would be nice. I think carolina has a good chance to beat New York this weekend. I would like to see the colts win it though if carolina doesn't get that far.

This year its very close between all the teams. Should be some great games coming up.

Bears vs Patriots... everyone forget about the patriots... they are almost over their injuries and still in it, the colts? they will find their end... seahawks always make mistakes and it will be not having a good defense, they are too young and thats what will come into play.

Dunno who picked Tampa over Chicago, but Tampa has only won 1 (in their lifetime) game when the temperature is below 40 degrees. I'm pretty sure it will be colder than that...

Da Bears 210 - Tampa Bay (if they make it) 0

Oops my bad... I meant 2 games, not 1... 2002, they beat Da Bears and the Eagles, both games were below 40 degrees...

Tampa = Overrated

Carolina = Heavily Underrated. Steve Smith, Jake Delholme, Julious Peppers, DeShaun Foster ...Excellent team players who will fight extra hard now that every game counts. John Fox would still be my favorite coach in the NFL even if I wasn't a panthers fan.

NY Giants = Their lineup has most of the top 5 players in every position. However they are coming off a heavy loss vs Washington and they are plauged with injuries.

Bears = Strong Defense...offense will decide how far they go.

Colts = Losing momentum and out of steam here at the end?

Seahawks = Hungry team...Shawn Alexander....Depends on how much they want it I guess.

Washington = On the right track...Killer offense, but lacking abit in defense.

Stealers = They have some strong movement on the field with people like Jerome Bettis...Haven't really checked up on them enough to gauge how far they will go.

Broncos = Who cares? (Besides Lumberg) Wink

Bengals = Went on a great winning streak to tie with the seahawks record...Great offense...probably lacking in defense though.

Someone has to stop Shawn Alexander or Edgerrin James to win it this year, I don't see any of the competition stopping either of those guys in crunch time.

Prediction: Pittsburgh wins Super Bowl, to compliment the Penn State victory last night and make it one hell of a year for football in The ‘Burgh.

Great games this weekend. Was glad to see the Bucc's booted out. The Redskins deserved that win. They are my #2 team this year.

I felt bad for the Bengals. I was kinda rooting for them, but when the Steelers started giving the ball to Bettis, there was no stopping him. That guy is seriously amazing.

As for Jax losing to the Patriots... I was really dissapointed to see them lose like that, especially to New England. I don't think anyone wants to see New England here in the playoffs, much less the superbowl. I'm hoping to see them shutout this weekend.

Was also great to watch the Giants get stomped by Carolina. When Delhomme keeps rotating the ball between Foster, Smith, and Goings, I seriously cannot see any defense (not even the bears) stopping their scoring drive. The problem is Delhomme always overplays Foster and ends up becoming a predictable QB which is exactly how we lost to Chicago the last time. In fact, I GUARANTEE you that if we lose in any of the upcoming games, it will be because Delhomme does not distribute the ball evenly between those 3 players. I'm pretty nervous about things, seeing as how we are playing up in Chicago and there will no doubt be cold weather and loud opposition in the stands. Its going to be a tough game for Carolina, but they are underrated and are playing in a solid driven mode right now. Should be well matched.

as a chicago fan I know its going to be a damn good game... I think the teams are basically equal in talent, panthers definately have a better offense but if you think of teams of the past the defenses usually go further in playoffs.... we'll see next weekend!

Being from right outside of Indy, I'd love to see the Colts take it all.
My prediction: Not going to happen.

we deserved the win but our offense needs to get its shit together.

They had two weeks off now they better come out to play against seattle because i dont think the defense is gonna be able to win that game alone.

AFC: As much as I would love to see the Steelers get past the Colts next week I just can't say it's going to happen. Colts will win that game.

NE vs Denver is probably the most interesting game of the entire post season to me. Denver won the game earlier in the season but NE is now a much more healthy team and that make me think that Denver won't hold up to them. I can't wait for this game next week.

NFC: Next week Redskins vs Seahawks is going to be an interesting but predictable game unfortunately... Seahawks will bring out their A game and the Redskins will lose. Poor Gibbs.

Carolina vs Chicago will result in either a Carolina blowout or a Chicago shut down of Carolinas offense. Personally I think Chicago will shut down Carolina's offense and then struggle on it's own offense leaving this game to be a low scoring affair. Cicago 14 Carolina 3. Boring but very tactical game.

In two weeks we'll see in the Championship games:

NE vs Indy
Chicago vs Seattle

Superbowl will be NE vs Chicago, repeat of XXI, except this time the Pats take it.

Some of you guys just quote ESPN.

If Denver can beat NE, Indy will be in the SB. If Indy faces NE, unfortunately, NE will win. As much as Tom Brady loves the c**k and I can't stand NE, they will pull it out in the playoffs vs. the Colts because, well they have voodoo dolls.

NFC who cares. They all suck and the AFC will win the SB.
