I bought my first copy of the game a month ago. Since then I have returned it for another copy a total of three times. I have even gone as far as to buy a whole new system.
I am having problems with the game locking up. I have yet to get past the first kick-off. Any ideas?

Try it on someone else's PS2 and you'll know if it's the game or not rightaway.

Corrupt data on the mem card.
We had this same problem with Madden last year, turned out our data had corrupted. Delete it and try again.
