Pretty much the same here, majoring in physics for tech... and it looks like i'm gonna fail english w/ this professor so i'm withdrawing today.

My first semester in college was so f****d up.
I only had to go to class monday/wednesday/friday, but I had classes pretty much all day
Anthropology 111 from 8-8:50 m/w/f
Civics 111 from 9-9:50 m/w/f
Calc 1 from 2:00-3:20 m/w/f (with the lab portion every other wednesday from 1:00 to 1:50) Plus my professor had written the textbook, and the textbook sucked. He also assigned like 150 problems every week.
And on mondays, CS 112 from 6:00 to 8:30, plus wednesdays CS 112 lab from 9:00 to 11:00 (though I never actually went at that time, I managed to switch my lab to the 6:00-8:00pm one after someone dropped.) Fortunately I was also usually done with the lab exercises by 7:15 or so.

The only thing remotely good about that schedule is there are no 8 AM classes.

exactly, I dont mind having class for a long period of time and I am about 7-9 hours from home when factoring in all travel time by bus so going home on weekends isnt an issue for me.

that's not too bad.
Most of my semesters I was able to pull no classes earlier than 10:40am and no classes after 1:30pm on fridays. Sometimes I even had fridays off completely

heres an idea... why dont you read, do the assignments (not last minute slap dash jobs).
instead of being a quiter... apply and prove yourself, not only to him, but to yourself and come out of that coarse with an A an a sense of self accomplishment and pride.

A couple reasons, one the teacher is a complete tard. I'm paying for his class yet we easily spend 30-40 min going over what people did over the weekend. I would rather take this class and pass with a teacher that can teach me something. Since paper writing is going to be very important omw to higher classes.
Dont mistake me for some teeny who is having this class paid for by his parrents. I am making A's in all of my other classes however this one i would end up with a C maybe a B if i gave a shit aobut his worthless lectures. Just passing a class means nothing if you paid $400 for the class and didnt learn a thing.
