Basically, i have installed a lot of stuff, and then uninstalled a lot of stuff over the last 15 months, most programs that i had installed now give me errors (thus i uninstalled them), and CRCs are commonplace on my system when moving data onto my removable hd drive
what i want to do, is wipe out all the rubbish, but i rele need to keep the data that my Firefox has intact, what i want to know is
1. is there a way to backup your firefox browser passwords etc
2. can anyone point me in the direction of a quality guide to wiping selective rubbish from my system
if i can get a +ve answer to question 1, then i'll simply reformat and reinstall XPH and all my software that i need (ie VLC media player and my CD/DVD burner software)
