Well finnally got logged in and created a Fighter/Barbarian.

All I can say is wow the graphics are unreal, everything runs smooth as silk on my p4 3.2 Gig HT proccesser with Ati Radeon 9800 xti 256.
You start out on a boat where you do a few quests and get to know some of the game dynamics. From there you let off the boat to the newbie Island that is like an outpost that goblins are constantly raiding. When you get off the Boat you are greeted by 1 of the captians of the Island and he gives you a quest and tells you to pick a weapon from the Rack. from there its non stop quests that lead you to gear expierence and coinage. I got to lvl 4 in no time at all doing the quests and only played for maybe an hour. So far Ive managed to get some decent Legs Gloves and some other goodies, I have about 60 Copper banked which isnt to bad really for EQ 2 Economy and being a newbie.

Lots of things are alot different in eq 2 then eq from graphics to game dynamics to the way every thing is setup Combat system I like alot better then eq and the graphics while in Combat are far better then eq its not just mindless swinging a sword at something, you actually have special attacks even at lower lvls that are very cool. The partical effects on spell casters and doing specials just straight rocks. Alot of thought went into it all. You also get a Flee ability that makes you run as fast as sow for a short duration to escape from dangers, So far on the island nothing really agros you unless you engage it which provided for a bit of exploring time. You also get expierence in the game for exploring not just killing and questing.
They made the Goblins sound just like the Goblin dude on Lord of The rings, It made me laugh first time I heard them talk, thats right talk they actually speak to you and throw a text bubble over thier heads. Its a very fun filled expierence so far.

I cant wait to play more, I believe this game is going to do very well from what Ive seen so far. It does have more of a ps2 or xbox game feeling to it but that is in account of the graphics really.

Hope this gives folks a bit an overview so far of what Ive expierenced.
