My biggest issues with Eve Online is about sound. It is just gone. It was working well until yesterday, and now I cannot hear anything. I must say that in any other game, sounds work just great. EVE is a game where you must hear all the sounds. I tried several things to fix, but nothing helped me. I am hoping that someone had similar issues, so they will know how to fix them.

You did not tell us what you tried to do. This game is working under windows, as all we know. That is why there can be a lot of things that could go wrong. Eve Online is good game, and there should not be these kinds of problems. One thing that comes to my mind is to reinstall the game. On the other hand, maybe you should install new sound drivers. EVE got one major upgrade recently and that might interfere with your sound card. You should try those two thing, and if that do not helps you, come back and we will try something else.

If its still an issue, I would suggest looking trough the eve-online forum. Or post the steps you have taken, there is quite a few things you may have done wrong, but as earlier post said, without information, we cant help you

who plays eve with sound. I think in three years i never had the sound on. The music drives me insane and the explosions gun shots, going through gates etc gets real old really fast.
Curious why you think eve requires sound. If its siuational awareness, you are not using your overview to the fullest extent.
