If you want to watch/listen to a very good debate whether we should go to war or not without the grandstanding that we see nightly by politicians or commentators, please cspan or listen to www.kcrw.com/npr now. There is a debate going on at the Wiltern Theatre with a wonderful intellectual panel and it's a very compelling listen.

i enjoy listening to NPR, but i find that many of their stories tend to be liberally biased.

Aye, NPR is incredibly uneven in this regard. They often come under fire for their book reviews... as apparently they rarely have liberals on their panel. However, they currently allocate a ton of time to discuss France, the UN, etc.
NPR is just a hodge-podge mishmash of journalists throughout the country. As such, it'll tend to be more liberal, but I don't think it's overly so.

I still find it hilarious that people debate this.
Whatever Bush wants to do is what we're going to do. Might as well be a dictatorship. 2004 cannot come too fast!! Thank god.

Only thing about NPR is that they generally don't have extremists on either side of the political spectrum and since I'm a Centrist for the most part, I like it and would prefer the grandstanding be kept at Foxnews or MSNBC. so I don't have to listen to their ideological BS.

Going back to the post where you bashed me for disregarding all news stories...NPR's "personal stories", editorial reviews, etc. are pretty liberally biased. You can always tell a liberal story is coming up when a woman with an airy voice starts talking about corporate america. I think their news segments are usually pretty balanced, though.
