So I got a sweet ass replayTV 5060 from Costco.
It's really a 5080, but the harddrive was formatted short so costco could have their own model, and it's real ez to format it to be 80 hours.
anyway.
So i can download the MPeg2 files off of the replay (ethernet port provided), and now have the files on my hard drive.
However, at medium quality, 30 minutes is almost 800 megs.
So i want to know if anyone knows of some software that can read mpeg2s and save as like less rez so the file is smaller so i can put them on VCDs. I've tried like searching and looking around and trying several packages to no avail.
