I could BARELY close the number 2 once, and I have a very strong grip. These things are so hard core i got 3 blisters within that afternoon using it. These things are bullet proof and very high quality.
I recommend the weaker "training" versions for people just starting off, even the number ones take 140 lbs pressure to close. The 2s are 195, 3s are 280 lbs, less than 100 people on the planet are able to close them once. The 4s are 365 and only 5 people can close them.
