Crusing home tonight after a decent night out. Got a nice buzz going, her hand rubbing my thigh, tunes going, easy drive home.
Untill he buzzed me.
I was going about 75 with hardly anyone on the road. It was very light traffic only one other car about 10 lenghts infront of me. I regularly scan my mirriors, the back and side ones but I didn't see this rocket coming. He was on a rice bike and must have been going 120, easy. He decided to buzz me close, real close, like less that a foot from my side mirror. The noise and shock about blew my head off. The adrenalin hit me so hard and fast I didn't get a chance to enjoy it. It instantly put me in fight or fight mode, wide eyed and ready for a crash. It took a second or 2 and I knew what it was and that no accident was incoming. The adrenalin slammed me so hard it made the tips of all my fingers and my eyes hurt and I was hyped for 30 mins afterward. Now when he did this, being I have alot of time behind a wheel, I reacted by looking and seeing if there was danger. I didn't swerve to my left or right before thinking. Like the guy infront of me did after getting the same treatment. He was half way on the shoulder tossing all kinds of crap in the air, he almost lost control.
I just want to say to this guy and anyone else who has done that while riding a bike.
I hope you die on your bike:)
I hope you crash at high speed and the road rips your body apart.
I have helped look for body parts on this type of accided, it ain't perty!
Buzzing people like that causes accidents, but they don't give a shit. You can be sure as shit if they did cause one they would keep on driving. They need to die before they cause one that causes someone else besides themselves to be hurt or killed.

Hmmm..if someone is on a bike going THAT fast, does one honestly have decent control of the bike?
I mean control enough to come that close to another vehicle and not accidently tap it?
Am glad you and your lady are ok, darlin'...

At that speed a very small pot hole or a decent sized pebble can bring him down.
Too bad it didn't.

I've never had the desire to ride a bike, not since I was 5 or 6 years old.
Late one night, when I was little, my family heard a screeching crash against the park's fence right next to our house. We all jumped out of the house and ran down the driveway to see what was up, as did many of our neighbors who also awoke. There we saw a screaming, delirious, half-drunk motorcyclist flopping on the ground, clutching his badly torn apart leg. We had to call the cops and an ambulance to get him out of there, and the next day my dad had to hose down the pavement to wash all the blood and bits of flesh down the sewer.
Just disgusting!

I once was with a group of my friends. we were all on crotch rockets.
We made Toledo to Detroit in 22 minutes at 4 in the morn.
that's 59 miles in 22 minutes. If my maths right that's about 164mph avg. I'll never do that again. but it was fun.

Ever seen a bikes front brakes lock up at 100+mph? It was an awsome yet grewsome sight.
If you own a crotch rocket or any vehicle for that matter. People are not perfect. People make errors all the time. It IS a fact. One error at high speeds could end someones life or yours. You could be crippled for life and have to live with your mistake. Worse yet...the mini van that you just might hit at high speed might have a baby as a passenger. Yeah its fun as hell to be going wicked fast and blowing past other vehicles like they are standing still. About as fun as playing hot potato with a glass bottle of nitro I'd say.
People with no common courtesy or lack of common sence on this subject make my stomach churn.
People rag on me because I'm a coutious, courtious, and defensive driver. Why risk it? If I wanna be risky. I can just go to my house and play russian roulet.
Glad you and your lady are okay Kbarr.

wishing anyone to die is f****d up.
As far as going in a straight line doing 130+ is very stable. But its other people, road shit and the such you have to worry about.

Never said I was perfect:) Not only that but I get all giddly, like a teenage school girl knowing that every 5 mins or so, a dangerous ass on a rice rocket crashes and burns. One less shitferbrains on the street.

yeah wish people on bikes would die is a pretty f*****g dumb thing to say. Most motorcycle accidents aren't because of the few fuckheads that drive like idiots - you get that too in a daily car driver as well.
Most bike accidents are because of the other a******s on the road that don't see the bikes because they are too far in la la land

I drive 50 miles each direction to work on the interstate every day. About once or twice a week during the summer there are a few guys on crotch rockets that buzz down the center line passing people on their left or right going around 100 or so. One of these days someone is not going to see them and cut them off, that should make a nice red streak on I-25!

I wish they would outlaw motorcycles on public roads.
I HATE MOTORCYCLES!!!!!!!
They are loud as f**k in residential neighborhoods and I wish every bike owner got a ticket for disturbing the peace every time they drove. They are dangerous as all hell and hard to see as a driver in your rear view mirrors.
This is one case where the danger and nuisance to others trumps individual freedoms in my opinion - ban the f*****g things.

I wish Vek was my neighbor. I'd buy a Harley just to fire it up in the wee hours of the day just to brighten his day up.

Loud really depends on what type of bike you are talking about - a f**k more cars are louder than bikes out there with the fucktard muffler's they throw on them these days.

I thought about getting a motorcycle for a while. But I am a real speed junkie, I love to drive my car fast, and I know I would want to do the same on a motorcycle. Then I started reading up on motorcycle newsgroups and people posting every day about wrecks they had or people that they knew being killed and I decided I was better off keeping myself surrounded by metal.

I was only speaking about the guys who buzz people or do super dangerous acts IN traffic. Not normals drivers. Normal drivers don't turn into guided missles on the highway.
And yes you are correct, most bike accidents with cars happen because the operator of the car claimed they "didn't see them". Bikes are hard to see, thats why they should all be very loud.

I'm an adrenalin junkie myself and my father, who was a motorcycle cop for years told me to never get one. And I never did, its way too dangerous. If you want to get hurt or die, get a bike and keep driving it. Eventualy you will go down, its just a matter of time.

There was a motorcycle accident at a car shop that my friends dad owns. The guy was going real fast lost control and hit a car. The bike flipped him over the car head first into a dumpster. My friends dad didnt tell us exactly what he saw but he said what he didn't see was a head.
I agree with Kbarr on this one though. People that drive like that on those fast ass bikes deserved a decapataion (sp?).
