I’ve been reading a lot about EVE and I think I’m almost ready to start playing. But I still can’t make up my mind about the race I should choose. Perhaps someone here might help me with it – someone who’s played all of them and is willing to share his/hers experience with me. Thanks!

IMHO Minmatar are the most effective race to use in the long run for PVP even though you have the most skills to train. But since you’re playing EVE for the first time I’d suggest you take Caldari because have a simple skill set and they are quick learners. Amar are the least versatile ones so you could easily get bored playing them. Gallente are OK but they have too many skills to train and using droids can complicate the game.
