The NPC dialogue for shaman water sapta quest is great. Better than great, actually. Even if the class weren't as much fun as it is, these quests are really, really neat.

One of the best quests I've seen so far was the "Artisian First Aid" quests.
it was something different. Something unique.
What you do is goto Hammerfall and talk to the First Aid guy there. If you're skill is 200+, and you're level 40+, he'll offer the quest.
What you do is get this "magic" bandage and you have to run into the middle of 6 rugs on the ground. There are 3 types of patients. Critical, badly and wounded. You have to treat them (clicking the bandage) in the order of importance, and save 15 or so of them. if 6 or maybe 8 die, you fail and have to do it again.
It's a really neat quest idea.
Another of my favorites is the lvl 30 warrior quest for Berzerker stance. You have to goto Fray Island just off the coast of Ratchet and do a "battle ring" where you kill a few warriors while others watch and cheer you on. The boss calls them down 1 by 1 or 2 by 1 to fight you, then this named guy who's slightly higher level comes and beats you down. If you kill him you win and get Berzerker stance. It's a pretty hard core but fun quest.

That quest should have been limited to a single player. It's way to easy with someone healing you from outside.
An interesting quest was the bonk the peons at low level in The Den.

tester kit quest in tanris desert. A timed quest (probably not the last) in which you have to kill regular beasts, who drop samples during the quest, you have to right click it to test it. However I severely underestimated how diffuclt it owuld be the first time, so I had to redo it again when I ran out of time. But the upside is like 2 gold and almost 10K xp including the run to UC for part deux.

One that I really like is the level 20 alliance rogue poisons quest. You have to go to Westfall, steal a key from a patrolling guard (hits for like 250 if you aggro him) sneak past patrols in the tower, to the top, which you have to quickly sap an NPC (he'll see you stealthed, even behind) take a note and run away.

My favorites so far:
1. An Assassination I think was the name of it. It was a riot. There is a gnome spy you have to help out and the quest concludes with assassinating an evil noble. It was just so much fun.
2. Paladin 22 quest, you have to go out to Westfall and defend a woman there from attacking bands of Defias Raiders. It was just a hell of a lotta fun facing waves of 3, then 4, then 5 Defias. I did it solo and it was just a hoot. I died on the last wave with 1 guy left, but the chick I was helping finished him off so I got credit for the win. It was awesome!
3. Just got this one last night at the Race Track out in the Flats and was rollin. In order to do better in the race the gnomes want you to go kill some giant monster the trolls worship and steel its energy. Well...the name of the beast is "Gahz'rilla". It was awesome.
The quests in this game are just so damn awesome and really make it worth while. I actually look forward to doin a 2nd character and hitting all the ones I missed while doing trade skills.

I'm really looking forward to alliance quests, since I honestly think I've done every single horde quest (non class specific) on both continents -- up to level 20. Only lvl 20 I know but still a lot.
Experience on alliance side not so strong.

I like the Kodo Tamer quest in Desolace that promises an amazing loot upgrade and dosn't work. First i've found that dosn't work properly, all the more disapointing for that.

It's not really a quest, but it's funny anyways.
There's an NPC in Feralas that offers to send you up to the top of one of the Twin Colossuls (really big ass mountains). He says it's a 1 way trip and getting down is up to you.
When you get up there, there's a vendor that sells a 1 use parachute. Well, the slowfall only lasts for 10 seconds, and it'll run out half way down, causing you to splat on the ground. I thought it was pretty funny.

Amazing loot upgrade? At 30 when I went there, even though it was broken, I don't remember it giving anything decent for rewards. Maybe becasue they don't show up untill you finish????
I liked the horde lockpicking quest. You practice on the chests to adventually open the big chest, but then realize that the bird was in it and took the treasure and left its shit in it. Loved when you would open the lowbie boxes and they would turn you into rats and stuff. Way cool.
