FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO TALK ABOUT HOW ISLAM IS MISUNDERSTOOD AND THAT IT'S REALLY A "PEACEFUL RELIGION."
Allah or Jesus?

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths who explained their belief systems.
I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say.
The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.
When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"
There was no disagreement with my statements and without hesitation he replied, "Non-believers!"
I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct?"
The _expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, "Yes."
I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Pat Robertson or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"
The Imam was speechless.
I continued, "I also have problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in
order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and wants you to be with me?"
You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.
Chuck Colson once told me something that has sustained me these 20 years of prison ministry.
He said to me, "Rick, remember that the truth will prevail." And it will!

You do remember not so long ago that even "christians" killed for those to get to "heaven". It really wasnt until recent that those actions in the US have slowly stopped to some degree. Now in the US its used as a threat....all reilgions have had their hands in blood. Islam is a nation that is run by religon...and in the same respects so is the US.

Recently? Dude, if that happened in the US it was isolated. It was only sanctioned by religion centuries ago under corrupt popes and such.

Islam is a nation run by Religion>? that made no sense but at any rate.
According to the Koran, people not of the book are to be outright killed when encountered, people of the book (Christians and jews) are allowed to serve the Faithful as slaves for a certain period of time, if they cant be converted they are to be executed as well, but they have a grace period.
I was talking to a few folks and as we were driving by a corner, the guy next to me spouted "That is where they are building the house to keep class 3 **** offenders" we all nodded as its been a big issue in the community, he then went on to say "We should just send them over to those muslim countries so they can punish them" I interrupted him at this point and pointed out that Muhammads Favorite wife was 9 years old and that according to (mispelled im sure) Sharia (muslim law) in order to be convicted of rape, the woman must have 4 MALE witnesses to the crime.
My point was to that the idea of putting **** offenders in with muslims would only improve a **** offenders situation as in a muslim society every rule is bent to favor the man, whether he is a deviant or not, the only time a Deviant loses out in Muslim Society is when he goes up against another man of better reputation. Against a woman, he can do what he wishes.
If you read up on the Religion its really \Heinous, im sure there are good points but man there is some really evil roots in it. Im not saying muslims as a whole are Evil, im sure there are plenty of Righteous people who live good lives who are muslim, but the Islam practiced and taught in the third world isnt the Same islam that muslims practice in America.

I don't know what the koran says, since i've never read it, but i certainly hope that isn't true that they are told to execute or convert all non-believers.
I do believe though, from what i've heard, that Islam encourages violence and that many believers are brainwashed into thinking they'll be rewarded posthumously(sp) for such heinous crimes involving suicide and murder.

From everyone who contributed to this thread, only Compusmack presented a correct argument and admitted that he never read the Quran, so kudos to him for actually having a brain. For the rest of you, congratulations for talking out of your ass.
As a side note, every religion can be ugly and murderous (just look at the Crusades, especially the fourth, which instead of going to the Holy Land ended up in Constantinople, a Christian city, which they sacked for material gain, or the Inquisition). True Islam should be a peaceful religion, but fanatisicm and the inability to keep up with times has turned it into this s****y relic we see today, keeping some or most of those who adhere to it retarded.
Also, dear Bait, Muhammad's wife could have been 9 years old at the time, however we are talking about the middle of the 7th century, so good job of superimposing 21st century morals to that period, really scholarly of you. And since you want to talk about rape, try researching rape laws in Europe during the Middle Ages. Since a woman had to have an orgasm in order to conceive a child, any rape victim who became pregnant was put in a prison, since it was established that she enjoyed it, thus was not raped but in reality having **** intercourse outside of wedlock.
Do you know why Moslems were allowed to keep four wives? I think not, so I'll let you know. Because the Arabs fought in civil wars all the time, there was a large number of widows, and a shortage of men, so someone had to take care of those women, thus the 4 wives law. Now if we compare this to England up to the middle of the 19th century, when a woman walking down the road could be picked up by the police and internally examined to see if she was a p********e and had STDs, yep, only Islam places a big emphasis on man, not most societies up to 80 years ago.
And with that in mind and knowing that any rational and educated argument will fall on deaf years, especially if that other Education thread is of any indication, please feel free to return to your ignorance. I am sure you will

A few years back I found some carpenter ants had set up shop in my garage. They were chewing through some old wet beams and having a great old time. They were doing a lot of damage to my property.
So, I killed them.
Every last one of them.
I didn't talk to them, try to reason with them. That would be pointless. I didn't cut the beams out, with the colony intact and move them to a place farther away from my building.
I just killed them.
Its a shame we can't just deal with certain types of people in the same way. Things would be so much easier.
On this map I see 4 or 5 countries that could use a good nuking. Neutron nuking of course, that way we could repopulate the land sooner.

I don't know anything about the muslim religion. But it's obvious that a great many muslims was to kill a great many Jews and Christians. Whether this is from the original intentions of their religion or their corrupted interpretation of it is irrelevant. They need to be turned into glass or we will continue to get this.
