There are some rumors Ghost online leaves beta, and also the success rate is very bad game isnt popular as the creators expected it would be. So the game leaves beta, and from there on you need to pay monthly fee for it. I wouldnt pay more than 10$, but even that isnt sure.

Another rumor is that youll have to pay for it once, but no monthly fee. But as much as I know, Ghost online will remain free of charge in the future. However, some special expansions etc. will be available only if you pay. And besides that, you already have a real money trade for the stuff in the game.

I guess it is free as most mmorpg games are free except for some like WoW
