I know that CRT's are better for gaming, but I am interested in getting a 17-19 inch LCD Flat Panel. Is there a decent one that is ok for gaming? Also if I decide to stick with another CRT whats a good brand to get? I was thinking either Samsung or Viewsonic for either Flat Panel LCD or CRT.
Thanks

I have used 19 inch samsungs alot and they really didn't have alot of delay in it like all the rumors i've heard. It was one of the 25 ms latency timer ones too, not the new 16 ms ones. I think you can get one for around 400 nowadays thats pretty good quality. I personally tho prefer my 22 inch flatscreen NEC CRT.
I would goto www.tomshardwareguide.com and look up their reviews, they do lots of extensive reviews on LCDs.

First, dont ever believe anything Tom's says LOL anyone who is up on computer hardware knows theyre the National Enquirer of the computer world lol.
Yah the Samsung flat panels are ok, but I returned mine due to wayyyy too much ghosting. If you game ALOT you will need a 16ms one or nothing. If you have the desktop space just get a flat CRT. Make sure it has either a Dell or a Sont trinitron tube tho. They be the best. You can get a 21" for 400 bucks nowadays
