I really liked the game, but now I seem to be getting bored of it, does anyone know of anything fun to do besides stupid squall missions?

I'm so busy trying to get Droid Engineer that I don't really have time to get bored, that and keeping up with all the Spice that I'm selling. I never thought it would have taken off like that either, it's insane. Try some Imperial or Rebel Missions, those aren't always kill missions, and can make you travel a good deal. Visit that Alakazham page and look up the missions they have listed there too, some are pretty neat.

I joined the Imperial empire and now getting into a Imp guild. I go hunting with em on Naboo and take out rebel bases. Its alot of fun.
missions are boring as f**k. sure I pull in 50k a day doing it but credits are worth shit, you need faction points to get the good stuff like stormtrooper armor ^_^

Yeah, faction points are the way to go if you are choosing a faction. I'm wanting to get my classes up which requires and assload of resources and materials. My roomate got bounty hunter / ranger / CH and I've got Smuggler / Merchant / and almost Droid Engineer. He's put up harvesters and is bringing in random stuff (though he's more interested in looking for rare materials to sell to the highest bidder) but with all my harvesters (zero lots left) I'm still having to buy a LOT of resources. So I have to spend a lot of time crafting and the rest of the time doing kill missions so that I can afford to buy what others have put up for sale. Between getting the freakish amount of general crafting XP that I need for Droid Engineer, I'm having to keep up with the flow of Spices that are selling in freakishly large amounts now (I honestly didn't think that I would be selling any spices, but I honestly can't keep up with the demand some days). I don't really have time to even think about what faction I'm going with.... though I will probably not actually pick a faction instead sell out my faction points for cash since that's what smugglers do. If I DO pick a faction, it will be imperial... but not until I gather up a blue ass ton of rebel faction points and sell them out to the empire.
Overall it just depends on what it is you want out of the game. If you simply want combat... best thing is to get with a large group headed for Yavin IV, Dantooine, or Dathomir for some real punishment. If you wanna get some good XP and bring in cash while you are at it, go solo in the Afarathu Lair on Corellia... it's right outside Kor Velle. If youw ant to take part in the wonderful player driven community and economy, start making something or scouting resources and putting them up for sale. There are so many roles that a person can fill in this game. That's what truly makes it so dynamic and incredible to play.
